- • Join Government Employees Health Association, Inc. (G.E.H.A), a distinguished nonprofit member association dedicated to empowering federal workers with comprehensive health and dental benefits since 1937. As a Business Development Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding G.E.H.A's reach and impact by supporting the development and sale of innovative G.E.H.A Solutions products and services.
- • This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth and strengthening client relationships. You will work collaboratively with the Sr. Business Development Account Manager and the Manager of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, contributing to every facet of the sales cycle. Your responsibilities will span from initial prospecting and lead nurturing to the intricate process of contract negotiations and the meticulous preparation of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- • A key aspect of your contribution will involve identifying and capitalizing on new marketing opportunities, ensuring G.E.H.A's offerings are effectively positioned in the market. You will be responsible for creating compelling presentations that articulate the value proposition of G.E.H.A Solutions to potential clients, showcasing our commitment to empowering health and wellness.
- • Beyond securing new business, your role extends to ensuring a seamless transition for new clients. Upon contract completion, you will be crucial in facilitating the internal transfer of vital client information to the relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth handover for implementation and ongoing account management. This ensures our members receive continuous, high-quality service.
- • You will act as a critical liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, providing exceptional account service. This involves proactively addressing client questions, concerns, and requests, relaying their needs accurately to the appropriate departments, and diligently following up to guarantee a positive and enduring client experience.
- • In this dynamic position, you will actively support sales initiatives by both prospecting for new customers and nurturing relationships with existing ones, directly contributing to revenue generation. You will be involved in the planning, development, execution, and reporting of sales initiatives, working closely with the G.E.H.A Solutions team to monitor progress and achieve key deliverables.
- • Your analytical skills will be put to use in providing support for completing Requests for Proposals and conducting network analyses, which are essential throughout the sales process and for ongoing client management. This requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex information.
- • You will also assist in the negotiation and review of contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are accurately documented and approved by the necessary stakeholders. Maintaining these records meticulously in Salesforce is a critical responsibility, ensuring compliance and clarity.
- • Representing G.E.H.A at conferences, trade shows, and industry events will be an opportunity to enhance our brand visibility and reputation, connecting with key players in the federal employee health benefits sector.
- • This role demands a proactive and adaptable individual who can thrive in a remote work environment while maintaining strong connections with team members and clients. You will need to be comfortable working independently, exercising sound decision-making and critical thinking abilities, and managing your time effectively to meet critical deadlines.
- • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively. A strong understanding of the healthcare or insurance industry, particularly within the context of dental network leasing/stacking, is highly advantageous.
- • By joining G.E.H.A, you become part of an organization with a rich history and a clear mission: to empower federal workers to be healthy and well. You will contribute to a company that values its employees and offers a supportive environment for professional growth and development, all while working remotely for an organization that has been a trusted provider for millions since 1937.
