- • Shape the future of Web3 infrastructure as Gatewayfm’s first dedicated Business Development and Sales Manager, owning the entire revenue funnel from lead generation to signed contracts and long-term account growth.
- • Define and execute a global go-to-market strategy for our cutting-edge blockchain tooling, targeting node operators, DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, gaming studios, and enterprise Web2 companies entering Web3.
- • Build and manage a predictable sales pipeline—leverage outbound prospecting, inbound marketing-qualified leads, strategic partnerships, and conference networking to exceed quarterly ARR targets.
- • Translate complex technical capabilities (validator nodes, RPC endpoints, roll-up-as-a-service, MPC wallets, zero-knowledge proof stacks) into crisp value propositions that resonate with CTOs, DevOps teams, and C-suite buyers.
- • Run consultative discovery calls and technical demos alongside our engineering team, mapping customer pain points to Gatewayfm solutions and crafting bespoke commercial proposals (usage-based pricing, enterprise SLAs, white-label deployments).
- • Negotiate and close multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreements that include performance guarantees, security audits, and co-marketing clauses, ensuring both immediate revenue and long-term strategic alignment.
- • Establish KPI-driven account expansion plans; upsell additional services (blockchain analytics, MEV relays, data-indexing APIs) and cross-sell into new business units to grow net-revenue retention above 120%.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product to feed market intelligence into the roadmap, with Marketing to craft case studies and webinars, and with Finance to model pricing experiments and discount governance.
- • Represent Gatewayfm at premier Web3 conferences (ETHDenver, Token2049, Consensus, Devcon) and in targeted C-level roundtables, positioning the company as the go-to infrastructure partner for scalable, secure, and decentralized networks.
- • Build and mentor a high-performing sales team as the company scales; design comp plans, onboarding playbooks, and CRM workflows that institutionalize best practices and maintain culture.
- • Maintain laser-sharp CRM hygiene (HubSpot) and deliver weekly forecast accuracy to the leadership team, enabling data-driven decisions on resource allocation and strategic pivots.
- • Champion a customer-obsessed culture by instituting quarterly business reviews, NPS tracking, and rapid escalation paths that turn clients into vocal advocates and reference logos.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS or infrastructure sales experience with a verifiable track record of closing $1M+ ARR annually.
- • Demonstrated expertise selling to technical buyers (DevOps, CTOs, protocol founders) in blockchain, cloud, cybersecurity, or fintech verticals.
- • Fluent in Web3 primitives—nodes, staking, rollups, smart contracts, tokenomics—and able to hold deep technical conversations without pre-sales support.
- • Proven ability to build and scale outbound sales motions from zero to one; mastery of tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong.
- • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; comfortable pitching to both engineers and board members, remote or on-stage.
