- • Own the end-to-end remote sales cycle for Medtronic’s cutting-edge medical devices, from initial lead generation through virtual product demonstrations, contract negotiation and post-sale implementation, all while working from your fully equipped home office in Malaysia.
- • Develop and execute a data-driven territory plan that identifies high-value hospitals, clinics and key opinion leaders across Peninsular and East Malaysia, mapping decision-makers and creating tailored value propositions that speak directly to each stakeholder’s clinical and economic priorities.
- • Deliver compelling virtual presentations and live product demos via Zoom, Teams or proprietary platforms, translating complex clinical evidence into clear ROI stories that resonate with surgeons, procurement heads and C-suite executives, resulting in faster buying cycles and larger deal sizes.
- • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by leveraging Salesforce CRM to track every interaction, forecast accurately and uncover upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring a minimum 110% quota attainment year-over-year.
- • Collaborate daily with field clinical specialists, marketing, finance and supply-chain teams to design customised solutions—such as consignment stocking, leasing programmes or outcome-based contracts—that remove barriers to adoption and accelerate time-to-revenue.
- • Champion patient outcomes by educating healthcare professionals on the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques, remote monitoring capabilities and AI-driven diagnostics embedded in Medtronic devices, ultimately reducing readmission rates and improving quality of life for thousands of Malaysian patients.
- • Monitor competitor activity, regulatory changes and reimbursement trends across the ASEAN region, distilling insights into actionable battle cards and pricing strategies that keep Medtronic two steps ahead in a fast-moving market.
- • Mentor junior inside-sales reps through call-listening sessions, objection-handling workshops and pipeline reviews, fostering a culture of continuous learning and elevating the overall performance of the regional sales pod.
- • Represent Medtronic at virtual conferences, webinars and KOL roundtables, positioning yourself as a thought leader in cardiology, diabetes, surgical innovation or neurosciences—whichever portfolio you are assigned—while capturing qualified leads for immediate follow-up.
- • Uphold the highest standards of compliance by adhering to Medtronic’s Global Code of Conduct, local MDA regulations and GDPR data-privacy rules, ensuring every customer interaction is ethical, transparent and fully auditable.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of B2B or B2C sales experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare IT or a related regulated industry, with a verifiable track record of exceeding quota.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Business, Marketing or a relevant discipline; advanced degree or professional sales certification (e.g., SPIN, Miller Heiman, Challenger) is a strong plus.
- • Demonstrated proficiency in remote selling technologies—CRM (Salesforce preferred), video-conferencing platforms, digital marketing automation and social selling tools.
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical data, financial models and market research to craft persuasive value propositions.
- • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages such as Mandarin or Tamil are advantageous for engaging diverse stakeholders.
