- • As a Business Development Associate at iDeals Solutions Group Limited in London, you will play a critical role in expanding the company’s Virtual Data Room (VDR) presence in the UK market by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with key decision-makers in finance and investment banking sectors.
- • Your work will directly contribute to Ideals’ mission of enabling high-stakes business processes with greater security, efficiency, and confidence, supporting over 2 million users across 300,000 global companies in activities such as M&A, fundraising, and clinical trials.
- • Day to day, you will proactively prospect using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, AmpleMarket, Aircall, and Clay to generate outbound leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- • You will engage with C-suite and senior stakeholders to understand their deal-making challenges and position Ideals VDR as the trusted solution for secure document sharing and collaboration during due diligence, fundraising, and corporate transactions.
- • You will manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and product demonstrations to negotiation, deal structuring, and closing—while consistently meeting or exceeding individual and team quotas.
- • Collaboration is key: you will work closely with Customer Success and Inside Sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs, gather customer feedback for product improvement, and drive long-term satisfaction and retention.
- • You will represent Ideals at industry events such as the M&A Community gatherings, helping to increase brand visibility and thought leadership in the UK financial and professional services sectors.
- • Regularly, you will deliver tailored, compelling product presentations that highlight Ideals’ security, usability, and customer-centric design, adapting your pitch based on client needs and industry nuances.
- • You will provide timely updates and insights to internal teams, contributing to the refinement of UK-specific sales and marketing strategies aligned with Ideals’ global growth objectives.
- • About the team and company: You will join a high-performing, quota-carrying field sales team of 10+ professionals in London, part of a globally recognized B2B SaaS leader with over 17 years in the VDR space and a Top-5% ranking on RepVue for sales team satisfaction.
- • Ideals is a bootstrapped, profitable company with 30%+ year-over-year revenue growth, powering an estimated 10%+ of global M&A activity, and projecting 5x revenue growth over the next five years—offering you a rare opportunity to grow with a stable, innovative, and values-driven organization.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced enterprise sales skills, including complex deal navigation, stakeholder mapping, and consultative selling in high-value, regulated industries.
- • You will gain deep expertise in the VDR and secure collaboration market, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in financial transactions while building a network of influential professionals across London’s investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance communities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 1+ years of end-to-end (360) business development or sales experience in B2B or professional services, with proven success in prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level and senior decision-makers in finance, investment banking, or related sectors through strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, managing complex sales cycles, and adapting strategies based on market feedback and customer insights.
- • Proficiency with modern sales tools including CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), sales intelligence tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AmpleMarket), and communication platforms (e.g., Aircall, Clay).
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive pitches, run effective discovery calls, and tailor messaging to diverse stakeholder needs.
- • Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented mindset, with comfort operating in a target-driven, quota-carrying environment and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
