- • As a Business Development Executive at NAMSA, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to deliver best-in-class global MedTech development solutions by driving strategic sales initiatives that directly support client success and innovation in healthcare.
- • Your work will contribute to NAMSA’s legacy as a pioneer in medical device materials testing and its ongoing leadership in shaping industry standards, helping clients navigate every stage of product development with expert guidance and tailored solutions.
- • You will develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve assigned goals across designated territories, key accounts, and therapeutic areas, aligning your efforts with global market share objectives.
- • You will maintain full ownership of all accounts within your scope, proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand business through consultative engagement and value-based selling.
- • You will establish and maintain consistent, meaningful interactions with existing and prospective clients via field visits, virtual meetings, emails, and participation in national and global industry events to build trust and uncover needs.
- • You will cultivate long-term, strategic partnerships with clients by understanding their challenges and positioning NAMSA as a trusted advisor, thereby enhancing satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- • You will recommend pricing models and go-to-market strategies to win significant new business, particularly with high-value accounts in key therapeutic segments, leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence.
- • You will ensure accurate and timely logging of all account activities, interactions, and pipeline data into Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems, maintaining data integrity for forecasting and reporting.
- • You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, marketing, and operations teams to design and negotiate multi-year agreements that secure recurring revenue and strategic alignment.
- • You will support marketing and product teams by sharing field-derived insights to identify emerging market opportunities, refine messaging, and inform solution development.
- • You will prepare and deliver customized, persuasive sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate NAMSA’s value proposition and differentiate its offerings in competitive environments.
- • You will provide actionable feedback from client interactions to internal teams, influencing product development, service enhancements, and strategic planning based on real-world market needs.
- • You will stay current on evolving trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the medical device and MedTech landscape to ensure your approach remains relevant and informed.
- • You will embrace flexibility in scheduling to accommodate global time zones and adapt to shifting priorities, demonstrating resilience and agility in a dynamic environment.
- • You will be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time, including domestic and occasional international trips, to engage clients face-to-face and represent NAMSA at key industry forums.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a scientific discipline is required.
- • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in outside, technical, or B2B sales, preferably within the MedTech, CRO, or technical consulting sectors.
- • Demonstrated success selling to the medical device industry or related healthcare fields is highly desirable.
- • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM (or strong aptitude to learn CRM platforms) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management abilities.
- • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus for global engagement.
