  • • Drive adoption of Carwow’s Sell My Car platform by signing up independent motor traders and franchise dealer groups through consultative selling and tailored phone demos.
  • • Generate new business through high-volume cold outreach and inbound leads, primarily via phone, with occasional field visits to close key dealer partnerships.
  • • Identify and upsell additional services including transport, wallet, stock funding, and other upcoming platform propositions to existing and new dealer partners.
  • • Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships with key decision-makers including GMs, Group Buyers, Business Owners, and Sole Traders.
  • • Deliver persuasive, adaptable pitches tailored to the size and structure of each dealership, from single-owner garages to multi-site franchise groups.
  • • Collaborate closely with the Account Management team to ensure seamless handover of onboarded dealers and support reactivation of inactive accounts.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records using Salesforce to track outreach, pipeline progression, and dealer activity.
  • • Use data insights to identify sales opportunities and potential risks, supporting growth strategies without requiring advanced data analysis expertise.
  • • Operate in a fast-paced scale-up environment, adapting quickly to evolving product offerings, market conditions, and internal processes.
  • • Contribute to achieving company-wide targets for dealer acquisition, platform adoption, and revenue growth across Carwow’s automotive marketplace.
  • • Represent Carwow professionally at all levels of interaction, embodying the brand’s mission to transform how people buy and sell cars through technology and media.
  • • Work within established sales frameworks while demonstrating autonomy, initiative, and ownership of individual pipeline performance.
  • • Support the broader Business Development team by sharing insights, best practices, and feedback to improve outreach strategies and conversion rates.
  • • Balance quantity and quality in prospecting efforts, prioritizing high-potential leads while maintaining a disciplined approach to time and activity management.
  • • Stay informed on automotive retail trends, competitor activity, and dealer pain points to enhance pitch effectiveness and partnership value.
  • • Participate in all stages of the interview process, including role-based task assessments and values-aligned discussions, to ensure alignment with Carwow’s culture and goals.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience in a similar role within the automotive retail industry (essential)
  • • Proven business development experience with a hunter mentality focused on prospecting and new partnership development
  • • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with confidence in pitching to senior decision-makers across dealer types
  • • Ability to work effectively with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce
  • • Driven, hard-working mindset adaptable to a fast-growing scale-up environment
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the flexibility to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
