- • As a Business Development Executive at Gartner, you will play a critical role in expanding the company’s presence in the global market by acquiring new clients through trust-based relationships with C-level executives, driving the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure, and transitioning new clients to account management for ongoing value delivery.
- • Day to day, you will seek out and drive new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner Large Enterprise organizations (with $1B+ in annual revenue), build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, conduct client outreach and negotiations, own forecasting and account planning, and ensure quota attainment through strategic alignment of insights, guidance, and tools to deliver client value.
- • You will join Gartner’s Business Development team within the GBS Large Enterprise segment, a results-driven, client-committed, and highly collaborative group focused on building long-term client value and expanding their book of business in a supportive, inclusive culture that values intellectual curiosity and performance-driven growth.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in complex B2B sales, master enterprise-level client engagement, refine forecasting and pipeline management skills, and gain access to world-class sales training and career progression paths — including opportunities to advance into Business Development Director, Team Lead, or Sales Manager roles through Gartner’s promote-from-within culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments
- • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- • Experience selling to and/or influencing C-Level Executives
- • Bachelor’s degree desired
- • Willingness to conduct travel as needed
- • Proven ability to manage and forecast a complex sales process
