- • As a Business Development Executive at Gartner, you will be at the forefront of expanding our global market presence by strategically acquiring new clients. This pivotal role involves cultivating deep, trust-based relationships with C-level executives, understanding their most critical priorities, and identifying opportunities to deliver unparalleled value through Gartner's industry-leading insights and tools.
- • You will own and drive the entire sales cycle, from the initial identification of prospects to the successful closure of deals. Your primary focus will be on new client acquisition within the Large Enterprise (LE) and Global Enterprise (GE) segments, targeting organizations with substantial annual revenues (over $1 billion for End-User LE and over $500 million for Technology Vendor LE).
- • Your day-to-day will involve actively seeking out and developing new business opportunities within your assigned territory. This includes proactive outreach, engaging C-level stakeholders, and leading comprehensive sales conversations and negotiations.
- • A key responsibility is converting viable prospects into active Gartner clients. You will be instrumental in demonstrating how Gartner's unique combination of insight, guidance, and practical tools can address their mission-critical priorities and drive their success.
- • You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of high-quality opportunities, consistently meeting and exceeding your sales metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- • This role carries a direct quota responsibility for your assigned territory, demanding a results-oriented approach and a commitment to achieving ambitious sales targets.
- • You will manage complex, high-revenue sales processes within diverse and matrixed business environments, requiring strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
- • Effective forecasting and detailed account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis are essential components of this role, ensuring predictable revenue generation and strategic client engagement.
- • Upon successful acquisition of a new client, you will expertly transition them to the dedicated account management team, ensuring a seamless handover and continued client satisfaction.
