📋 Description

• As the Business Development Lead for Residential Flex at Kraken Technologies Limited, you will play a critical role in expanding the company’s market presence by identifying, developing, and closing strategic partnerships that drive the growth of the residential flexibility portfolio.
• You will engage with key stakeholders within energy retailers to integrate flexible residential assets into the grid ecosystem, directly contributing to the company’s mission of enabling customers to release £30bn of value per annum from distributed energy resources (DERs).
• You will join a dynamic and collaborative team of energy enthusiasts committed to decarbonizing the grid, working within a technology company focused on creating a smart, sustainable energy system that is transforming the industry globally.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the residential flex strategy, gain deep expertise in the energy transition and distributed energy markets, and contribute directly to a global mission of building a smarter, more sustainable energy future through innovative SaaS solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or sales within the energy, technology, or sustainability sector.
• Strong understanding of distributed energy resources (DERs), grid flexibility, or energy market mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with energy retailers and other key industry players.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships that drive measurable business growth.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and experience working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven technology environment.
