  • • On a day-to-day basis, you will identify and engage potential retail clients in Amsterdam, initiate and lead meetings with senior stakeholders either independently or alongside colleagues, and explore client needs through consultative dialogue to uncover business challenges and objectives. You will shape tailored solution approaches in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, lead or co-lead proposal processes and commercial negotiations, and contribute to the go-to-market strategy for the retail segment. Additionally, you will develop thought leadership content, participate in industry events and networking activities, help refine customer acquisition processes, and support seamless transitions from sales to delivery to ensure long-term account development and client satisfaction.

  • • Strong commercial instinct and a growth mindset, with a proven ability to identify opportunities and drive results in competitive markets.
  • • Genuine interest in the retail sector and its digital transformation challenges, including familiarity with trends such as omnichannel experiences, personalization, and retail technology innovation.
  • • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across client organizations, particularly with senior stakeholders, using consultative selling skills to understand, anticipate, and articulate client needs.
  • • Experience working with custom software, digital transformation, or complex technology services — either as a provider or on the client side — is highly relevant.
  • • An existing network within the Amsterdam retail market is a strong plus, though not required if you demonstrate the ability to build one effectively.
  • • Experience working with global brands is beneficial, particularly in understanding complex organizational dynamics and delivering scalable solutions.
