📋 Description

• As a Business Development Manager at Dourolabs XYZ Inc., you will serve as the critical bridge between our decentralized data network and the world’s most sophisticated institutional trading firms, market makers, and data providers. Your work will directly scale the liquidity and data footprint of our ecosystem, ensuring we remain the gold standard for high-fidelity market data in the rapidly evolving intersection of institutional finance and decentralized technology. This role is not about transactional selling—it’s about architecting strategic, long-term partnerships that define the future of data accessibility and market efficiency.
• On a day-to-day basis, you will identify, pitch, and onboard top-tier market makers and trading firms to contribute high-quality data to our network, managing the full supply-side lifecycle from initial outreach to integration and incentivization. You will lead the sales effort for our premium data offerings by identifying institutional consumers requiring low-latency, high-accuracy feeds, articulating the technical and economic value proposition with precision, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate market feedback into actionable roadmap insights. Additionally, you will act as a high-touch relationship manager for VIP clients, ensuring long-term retention and growth through proactive engagement, represent the organization at major TradFi and DeFi industry events across Asia and Europe, and maintain a deep pulse on the competitive landscape—including exchanges, oracles, and alternative data providers—to inform strategic positioning.

• In this role, you will develop elite-level expertise in institutional data monetization, decentralized infrastructure economics, and cross-border partnership structuring within the DeFi and TradFi continuum. You will sharpen your ability to navigate complex negotiations involving data licensing, liquidity incentives, and API-level integrations while building a reputation as a trusted advisor to quantitative traders, exchange executives, and data product leaders. Success here means not only hitting aggressive growth targets but also shaping the architecture of how institutional-grade data flows in a decentralized world—leaving a measurable impact on network resilience, data quality, and ecosystem adoption.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Institutional Coverage within finance, fintech, or related technology sectors.
• Strong technical literacy with the ability to confidently discuss API integrations, data latency, and infrastructure trade-offs with quantitative traders and engineering teams.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and experience navigating both Western and Asian business environments; Mandarin fluency is highly preferred.
