- • As a Business Development Manager at Profound Research LLC, you will play a pivotal role in expanding access to cutting-edge clinical trials by building and nurturing strategic partnerships with community physicians and healthcare organizations. Your work directly supports the company’s mission to improve lives by providing advanced therapeutic options, ensuring patients gain access to innovative treatments while preserving the integrity of the patient-physician relationship.
- • You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding new physician practices and clinical sites that align with Profound Research’s therapeutic focus areas, conducting needs assessments, presenting value propositions, and guiding partners through the integration process to enable seamless trial participation.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing targeted outreach strategies via email, phone, and virtual meetings; maintaining accurate records in CRM systems; preparing and delivering customized presentations that highlight the operational, regulatory, and patient recruitment benefits of partnering with Profound Research; negotiating site agreements; and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth study activation and ongoing site support.
- • You will also monitor market trends in clinical research, gather feedback from physician partners to refine service offerings, participate in industry conferences and virtual events to generate leads, and contribute to the continuous improvement of partner onboarding workflows and communication protocols.
- • The Business Development team operates at the intersection of healthcare innovation and community medicine, working closely with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to ensure that partnership initiatives are scientifically sound, compliant, and aligned with the highest ethical standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact patient access to novel therapies at scale while operating in a mission-driven, values-based organization.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in clinical trial logistics, regulatory compliance in community-based research, and healthcare partnership strategy. You will sharpen your consultative selling, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills—gaining experience that is highly transferable across the life sciences, healthcare services, and medical technology sectors. Success in this position can lead to advancement into senior business development, partnership leadership, or clinical operations management roles within Profound Research or the broader clinical research ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or clinical research industry.
- • Proven track record of identifying and closing opportunities with physician practices, clinics, or healthcare networks.
- • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements (e.g., IRB, GCP), and site feasibility considerations.
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and comfort with data-driven decision making.
