📋 Description

• Focus on streamlining and expanding existing ecosystem partnerships to unlock their full potential, with a methodical approach to deepening collaborations across CoW DAO’s multi-chain infrastructure.
• Identify and pursue new strategic partnership opportunities with consumer-facing financial applications including wallets, neobanks, and trading apps, as well as institutional players such as market makers, trading firms, and fintechs.
• Act as a technical expert when pitching CoW Protocol’s core products, tailoring narratives to both technical developers and non-technical institutional executives on intent-based routing, MEV mitigation, and combinatorial batch auctions.
• Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles including RFPs, multi-stakeholder negotiations, legal reviews, and technical integration checks from initial alignment to final operational deployment.
• Develop and maintain sales enablement materials such as polished sales decks, targeted partner lists, and influence maps to support business development efforts across global markets.
• Serve as the primary voice of partners by gathering and synthesizing market insights, friction points, and industry trends to inform product direction and roadmap prioritization.
• Represent CoW DAO at industry conferences, DeFi events, and community panels to elevate B2B presence, build meaningful professional connections, and strengthen brand authority in institutional DeFi.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and legal teams to align partnership goals with protocol capabilities and compliance requirements.
• Maintain a deep understanding of decentralized finance market structures, liquidity dynamics, and MEV ecosystems to effectively position CoW Protocol as the leading execution layer for institutional traders.
• Operate autonomously in a fully remote, flat-structured, open-source environment with minimal bureaucracy, driving initiatives end-to-end with ownership and initiative.
• Leverage periodic team gatherings and global events to foster alignment, build rapport with internal teams, and reinforce CoW DAO’s culture of collaboration and impact.
• Utilize provided conference, learning, and hardware budgets to enhance professional capabilities and maintain technical and market relevance in a rapidly evolving DeFi landscape.
• Contribute to a culture of feedback, ownership, and simplicity by actively participating in team discussions, proposing improvements, and championing user-protective innovation in DeFi infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of business development, account management, or partnership management experience, including at least 3+ years within the crypto/Web3 ecosystem
• True DeFi native with deep passion for decentralized finance, strong grasp of market structures, and sharp understanding of institutional financial markets
• Highly methodical and detail-oriented approach with ability to nurture, streamline, and scale existing ecosystem relationships
• Strong technical aptitude to explain complex DeFi primitives like intent-based routing, MEV mitigation, and batch auctions to both engineers and executives
• Exceptional communication skills to tailor narratives for technical and non-technical audiences across enterprise and institutional contexts
• Comfort navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles including RFPs, legal reviews, and technical integrations
