• • As a Product Engineer in our Paris office, you will be an integral part of a small, high-performing team of engineers and product leaders. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the scalability and impact of our platform. From day one, you'll collaborate closely with the founding team, contributing to the product vision and influencing our technical architecture. This role is designed for individuals who thrive on building technology that directly solves customer problems, balancing impact, effort, and user delight.
• • Your responsibilities will span the entire product development lifecycle. You will contribute to ideation, design and build intuitive and performant web interfaces tailored for business owners in Africa, implement robust backend logic, manage deployment processes, and actively gather feedback for continuous improvement and measurement. You will be the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring our products meet the evolving demands of our users.
• • A key aspect of this role involves proactive engagement in defining and managing delivery milestones. You will ensure seamless alignment between engineering efforts and product priorities, communicating effectively about new features both internally and externally. This includes collecting valuable feedback before implementation and clearly explaining new functionalities upon launch, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
• • Technically, you will be instrumental in building user-friendly and high-performance web interfaces. A strong emphasis will be placed on implementing IT security and data protection best practices, crucial in a regulated financial environment. You will have the opportunity to drive architectural decisions, focusing on enhancing scalability, observability, and modularity of our codebase. Championing code quality through rigorous testing, comprehensive documentation, and thorough code reviews will be a fundamental part of your contribution.
