  • • A key aspect of your role involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to promote the broader range of Manulife Bank's financial products and services within the broker community, fostering integrated client solutions.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass developing and executing a comprehensive annual business plan for your territory, outlining strategic outreach and engagement activities to maximize broker relationships and sales.
  • • You will be tasked with optimizing the delivery of Manulife Bank's value-added products, services, and expert advice, actively enhancing sales efforts through consultative engagement and demonstrating the synergistic benefits of integrating Manulife Bank's offerings into a broker's existing business model.
  • • A significant part of your role involves supporting mortgage brokers by collaborating directly with their centers of influence, including accountants, real estate agents, and participating in client-focused seminars to expand reach and generate leads.
  • • You will perform a crucial front-line business risk management function, ensuring awareness, support, and diligent implementation of all compliance and company policies among your network of mortgage brokers.
  • • This includes the supervision of sales-related activities, acting as a gatekeeper for adherence to regulatory standards and Manulife's internal guidelines.
  • • You are responsible for the timely escalation of any market conduct or compliance-related concerns to the National Partnership Leader and Bank Compliance, ensuring prompt resolution and mitigation of risks.
  • • A collaborative spirit is essential as you will share best practices and work closely with other Manulife Bank Business Development Managers across the organization, contributing to a unified and effective national strategy.
  • • You will also play a role in delivering organizational efficiencies by proactively highlighting opportunities for improvement in existing products and services, as well as identifying potential new product development avenues based on market feedback.
  • • Furthermore, you will partner effectively with other Manulife Financial and Manulife Bank representatives to cultivate and expand mortgage broker interest in Manulife Bank's comprehensive suite of debt management, loan, and deposit solutions.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to coordinating territory business development activities in alignment with other Manulife and Manulife Bank representatives, ensuring a cohesive and impactful market presence.
  • • You will leverage your strong understanding of personal and commercial lending policies and practices to provide expert guidance and support to brokers.
