  • • CompScience is at the forefront of revolutionizing workplace safety, driven by a powerful mission to prevent one million workplace injuries through cutting-edge technological innovation. We are a rapidly growing startup, founded in 2019 and backed by visionary investors from industry leaders like SpaceX, Tesla, and Anduril. Our unique strength lies in the fusion of two critical domains: advanced technology and deep insurance expertise. Our product, design, and engineering teams comprise distinguished professionals with backgrounds in computer vision, AI, machine learning, and software architecture from renowned organizations such as Amazon R&D, Meta, and the self-driving car industry. Complementing this technological prowess is our insurance team, composed of seasoned experts who possess an intimate understanding of workers' compensation policies. This synergistic collaboration allows us to translate complex data analytics into practical, impactful insurance products that genuinely meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • • At the heart of our offering is a groundbreaking perception-based risk assessment program, the first of its kind in the market. This innovative solution provides an unparalleled stream of comprehensive data for risk analysis and ongoing monitoring. Its efficacy has been demonstrably proven in significantly reducing accidents across some of the world's most hazardous occupational sectors. We are now seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our expanding team. This pivotal role is designed to drive significant business growth by strategically establishing and cultivating robust relationships with insurance brokers who are poised to adopt our transformative computer vision solutions within the workers' compensation landscape.
  • • As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding our market reach and impact. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and meticulously target insurance brokers who represent potential clients for CompScience's innovative solutions. You will be tasked with developing and nurturing these relationships with the ultimate goal of empowering these brokers to effectively sell CompScience solutions to their own client base. This involves creating and executing strategic plans designed to meet ambitious sales targets and significantly expand our market share within your designated geographic territory, focusing on the Central Region.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve close collaboration with our underwriting teams to generate substantial revenue through partnerships with targeted brokers and agencies. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering compelling presentations, persuasive proposals, and insightful product demonstrations to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value proposition of our technology. Furthermore, you will act as a crucial liaison, collaborating seamlessly with various internal teams to ensure the smooth implementation and successful delivery of our solutions to clients, fostering a positive and efficient customer experience.
  • • Building and maintaining strong, enduring relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at insurance brokerages will be paramount. This requires a deep understanding of their business needs, challenges, and objectives, enabling you to effectively position our solutions and tailor proposals that resonate with their specific requirements. Continuous learning and market awareness are also vital; you will be expected to stay abreast of evolving industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to proactively identify new opportunities for growth and innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry, making a tangible difference in workplace safety while driving significant business success.
