  • • As a Business Development Manager - Communications & Growth Partnerships at Sportygroup B.V., you will play a pivotal role in driving scalable growth by owning customer communications and regional marketing partnerships across Africa and LATAM, blending channel optimization, localization, and commercial strategy to amplify market impact.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include identifying, negotiating, and managing marketing partnerships in key emerging markets; optimizing performance of WhatsApp, SMS, and email channels through delivery, open rates, CTR, and cost analysis; aligning communications with broader marketing, product, and lifecycle campaigns; collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to localize messaging, creatives, and campaigns per region; planning and tracking regional activations such as strategic billboards, payment partnership campaigns, and affiliate marketing initiatives; measuring ROI across owned and partner channels; and onboarding new communication channel partners while managing existing Bulk SMS, email, and communication vendors for cost efficiency and performance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of experience in growth, communications, or partnerships roles
  • • Hands-on experience with messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, SMS, email) and lifecycle marketing strategies
  • • Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills for partnership development
  • • Experience working across multiple regions and cultures, with comfort traveling for local activations and market studies
  • • Data-driven mindset with execution focus, capable of measuring and optimizing ROI across channels
  • • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
