You will be instrumental in shaping Ripple's strategic direction in this rapidly evolving market.
  • • As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for co-developing and executing Ripple's overarching business development strategy for Institutional DeFi. This involves identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships with a diverse range of entities, including financial institutions, major cryptocurrency exchanges, and innovative crypto-native companies. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding the reach and impact of Ripple's innovative technologies.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve collaborating closely with regional business development teams to explore and capitalize on payments and stablecoin use cases. You will be tasked with identifying, cultivating, and closing strategic partnerships that align with Ripple's growth objectives. This requires a deep understanding of the financial landscape and the potential of blockchain technology to transform traditional financial services.
  • • You will play a crucial role in building a robust and sustainable ecosystem around the XRP Ledger. This involves forging strong relationships with projects, developers, issuers, and institutions who can contribute to and support the growth of the XRP Ledger. By fostering this ecosystem, you will help unlock new opportunities and drive innovation within the blockchain space.
  • • Close collaboration with our product, engineering, and sales teams is essential. You will work hand-in-hand with these departments to bring new products and services to market. A primary objective is to enable institutional participation in institutional DeFi in a secure, compliant, and scalable manner, ensuring that Ripple remains a leader in regulatory adherence and technological advancement.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend to building a sustainable ecosystem and generating demand for our solutions. This involves proactively identifying financial institutions, including institutional investors and other key partners, who are keen on investing in tokenized real-world assets. You will be the driving force behind connecting these entities with Ripple's offerings, thereby creating new revenue streams and market opportunities.
  • • The ideal candidate is a seasoned dealmaker with a proven ability to analyze market needs and translate them into actionable business development strategies. You should possess strong skills in deal implementation, cross-functional collaboration, customer relationship management, and project execution. Given that Ripple operates as a fast-paced, distributed team, you must be a self-directed individual capable of working effectively across different time zones and geographical locations.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to identifying market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities within the Institutional DeFi and blockchain sectors. 🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, and sales within relevant sectors such as Tech, Finance, or Banking.
  • • Native Korean speaker or proven fluency in Korean in a professional working environment.
  • • Relevant experience in Institutional DeFi, Exchanges, blockchain technologies, or FinTech.
  • • Strong interest and understanding of the institutional DeFi market, with a particular focus on tokenized real-world assets and stablecoins.
  • • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record of success in developing complex deals and first-of-a-kind partnerships.
