📋 Description

  • As a Business Development Manager for Water Treatment & Data Centre Cooling at Solenis LLC, you will drive growth in the Dutch market by developing and securing high-value contracts with key data centre operators, including hyperscalers and colocation providers, playing a critical role in optimizing water management and cooling efficiency for mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and targeting key data centre accounts, building a robust sales pipeline, expanding existing contracts to additional sites, managing complex technical sales cycles involving water treatment and cooling systems, developing tailored technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with internal experts in engineering and operations to ensure successful solution deployment.
  • You will join Solenis, a global leader in specialty chemical solutions operating in over 160 countries with more than 23,000 employees, and its subsidiary Chem-Aqua (NCH), a recognized expert in water treatment and cooling system optimization, working within a team focused on delivering sustainable technologies to water-intensive industries, particularly in the strategic data centre sector.
  • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in technical B2B sales within high-stakes environments, strengthen your ability to engage with multi-disciplinary stakeholders (engineering, operations, procurement), and gain deep experience in managing long, complex sales cycles while contributing to sustainable infrastructure solutions in a rapidly expanding market.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in water treatment, industrial cooling, HVAC, or thermal systems
  • Experience working in or selling to critical environments such as data centres, industrial facilities, or utilities
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex technical solutions and managing long, high-value sales cycles
  • Strong business development and closing abilities with comfort in technical environments and ability to engage engineers and operations teams
  • Fluency in English; Dutch language skills at a professional level are highly valued
