📋 Description

• • As the first Business Development & Partnerships hire at Resend, you will build the partnerships function from zero, driving growth through strategic integration partnerships, co-sell motions, referral and reseller programs, and OEM deals with developer platforms and cloud providers.
• • Your day-to-day will involve sourcing and closing new partnership opportunities, negotiating agreements that balance speed and protection, structuring partner programs from scratch, traveling occasionally to strengthen relationships, collaborating with product to unblock stalled integrations, and handing off qualified pipeline to the sales team.
• • Resend is a fast-growing, fully remote company of 40 people across 11 countries, backed by a16z and Y Combinator, dedicated to building the modern email sending platform for developers with a focus on quality, craft, and developer experience.
• • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape a critical growth function from the ground up, develop deep expertise in B2B SaaS partnerships, work closely with founders and product teams, and directly impact revenue through strategic alliances that scale Resend’s reach and adoption.
