  • • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Representative (AI Cloud) to join our rapidly growing team. This role is ideal for an individual who excels at building relationships, possesses exceptional communication skills, and has a strong drive for execution. You will be instrumental in shaping our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy from the ground up, operating at the exciting intersection of technical innovation and business development.
  • • This is more than a traditional sales position; it's an opportunity to own significant programs, experiment with novel outreach strategies, and contribute directly to our growth trajectory. You will blend core BDR responsibilities, such as pipeline generation and qualification, with crucial ecosystem-building activities. This includes forging connections with influential model creators, burgeoning AI startups, established enterprises exploring AI adoption, and developers actively seeking robust solutions for open-model deployment.

  • • **Immediate Ownership & Key Responsibilities:**
  • • **Pipeline Development & Qualification:** Proactively build and meticulously qualify a robust pipeline of opportunities across diverse segments, including enterprise clients, cutting-edge research labs, and innovative AI startups.
  • • **Outreach Automation & Management:** Design, implement, and manage sophisticated outreach sequences and automation workflows using industry-leading tools such as HubSpot, Clay, and Reply.io, with a focus on efficiency and personalization.
  • • **Engagement & Re-engagement:** Strategically re-engage with existing sign-ups and subscribers, identifying and nurturing high-value users and potential advocates for our platform.
  • • **Coordination & Facilitation:** Seamlessly coordinate partner calls and discovery meetings, acting as a key liaison between prospects, the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and the founding team.
  • • **Performance Tracking & Reporting:** Maintain rigorous tracking of CRM data, key pipeline metrics, and provide comprehensive weekly reporting to inform strategic decisions and measure progress.
  • • **Event Representation & Networking:** Represent Featherless AI at industry events, actively generating pipeline, and establishing critical relationships within the AI community.
  • • **GTM Experimentation:** Propose and execute creative GTM experiments, exploring new market segments, partnership models, and innovative approaches to accelerate growth.
  • • **Core Duties & Ongoing Contributions:**
  • • **Prospecting & Qualification:** Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns and effectively qualify inbound interest to ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile.
  • • **Relationship Management:** Own and nurture customer relationships throughout the sales cycle, driving deals forward to successful closure, particularly within the startup ecosystem.
  • • **AI-Enhanced Operations:** Leverage AI tools extensively to automate repetitive tasks, enhance the effectiveness of outreach, and gain deeper insights into prospect behavior and market trends.
  • • **CRM Hygiene:** Uphold the highest standards of CRM data integrity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for effective pipeline management and reporting.
  • • **Ecosystem Collaboration:** Actively manage and cultivate partner relationships with model creators, research institutions, and developer communities, fostering a collaborative and supportive ecosystem.
  • • **Cross-Functional Partnership:** Collaborate closely with our Developer Relations (DevRel) team on co-marketing initiatives, content creation, and broader ecosystem engagement strategies to amplify our reach and impact.
