  • • As a Business Development Rep - US at Ona Systems, Inc., you will serve as the critical first point of contact in building relationships with enterprise prospects, directly contributing to the company’s mission of making every organization a tech company by driving targeted outreach campaigns that book qualified meetings and feed strategic insights back to the go-to-market team.
  • • You will be deeply immersed in AI software engineering and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), using your technical curiosity to understand enterprise pain points and tailor messaging that resonates with ideal customer profiles (ICPs), while navigating complex organizational structures to multi-thread across stakeholders and levels.
  • • Your day-to-day will involve executing high-impact outreach via phone, email, and social channels using AI-powered tools like Clay, Gong, Smartlead, and Apollo to engage prospects, qualify leads, and book ICP-aligned meetings, all while maintaining rigorous follow-through and ownership of individual targets.
  • • You will craft and iterate on compelling messaging based on real-time signals from conversations, experiment across channels, and pivot strategies based on results to continuously improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • • A core part of your role will be synthesizing field insights—such as objections, patterns, and prospect signals—into structured feedback that sharpens Ona’s GTM strategy, ensuring the marketing and sales teams are informed by authentic, frontline intelligence.
  • • You will operate in alignment with Ona’s operating principles, treating relationship-building as a craft and a foundation for long-term partnerships, where every connection is viewed as a future opportunity and your authenticity and rigor set the standard for the team.

  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise AI software use cases, master ICP-specific personas and their pain points, become fluent in Ona’s lead sources and systems, and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI-powered sales tools—positioning you as a strategic contributor to the company’s growth trajectory.
  • • Over time, you will refine your ability to raise your own bar, turning sales into a disciplined craft where rigor, curiosity, and continuous learning drive both personal excellence and team-wide improvement, with clear pathways to advance into senior sales or GTM strategy roles.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets in a technical BDR role, preferably in developer tools, cloud, infrastructure, or AI software development.
  • • Demonstrated understanding of cloud/DevOps concepts and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with ability to hold credible technical conversations with enterprise buyers.
  • • Experience with ABM strategies and multi-threading across complex enterprise accounts, including mapping stakeholders and tailoring messaging to diverse personas.
  • • Familiarity with AI-powered sales outreach tools such as Clay, Gong, Smartlead, Apollo, or similar platforms to drive efficiency and personalization.
  • • Track record of converting field insights into actionable feedback for GTM and marketing teams, showing structured thinking and strategic impact.
  • • Comfort operating in an early-stage, high-growth environment where processes are evolving and initiative is required to succeed.
