Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the top-of-funnel engine for Fusion Connect’s growth story. As our Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the first voice a prospect hears, the first problem-solver they meet, and the catalyst that turns cold outreach into multimillion-dollar opportunities for our Sales and Channel teams.
- • Generate a predictable pipeline of qualified Mid-Market and Enterprise prospects across the United States. You will execute 80-100 strategic outbound touches per day—phone, email, LinkedIn, and targeted campaigns—while leveraging intent data, trigger events, and account-based plays to ensure every conversation is relevant and value-driven.
- • Master the art of consultative discovery. You will map organizational hierarchies, identify economic buyers and technical champions, and uncover pain points around legacy telecom, cloud migration, security, and cost optimization. Your ability to translate those pains into Fusion Connect solutions will directly influence win rates and deal velocity.
- • Collaborate daily with Enterprise Account Executives, Sales Operations, and Marketing to craft hyper-personalized messaging, coordinate multi-threaded outreach, and align on territory plans. Your feedback loop will shape campaign creative, content assets, and product positioning in real time.
- • Own your numbers and your narrative. You will maintain pristine Salesforce hygiene—logging calls, emails, notes, and next steps—while delivering weekly pipeline reviews that spotlight trends, objection patterns, and competitive intel. Forecast accuracy and transparency are non-negotiable.
- • Champion Fusion Connect’s full portfolio—SD-WAN, UCaaS, CCaaS, cloud connectivity, managed security, and wholesale solutions—through continuous enablement. You will complete monthly certifications, attend vendor roadshows, and distill technical updates into crisp value propositions for non-technical buyers.
- • Drive event amplification before, during, and after regional and national trade shows, webinars, and executive roundtables. You will recruit target accounts, secure pre-set meetings, and execute post-event nurture sequences that convert booth scans into Sales Accepted Leads.
- • Elevate the customer experience at every touchpoint. Whether you are scheduling a demo, sending a follow-up resource, or handing off a fully qualified opportunity, your professionalism, curiosity, and empathy will set the tone for the entire buyer journey.
- • Contribute to a culture of experimentation. You will A/B test subject lines, call openers, and cadence timing; share wins and failures in weekly stand-ups; and iterate rapidly to improve connect rates, meeting-set rates, and pipeline conversion.
- • Grow your career, fast. Top-performing BDRs have a clear path to Senior BDR, Inside Sales Rep, or Field AE roles within 12-18 months, supported by structured coaching, leadership workshops, and a tuition reimbursement program for industry certifications.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1-3 years of outbound prospecting experience in B2B technology or telecom; SaaS or managed services background strongly preferred
- • Proven track record of exceeding monthly or quarterly qualified-opportunity quotas (8-12 SQLs per month minimum)
- • Salesforce power-user: can build reports, manage campaigns, and maintain data integrity without hand-holding
- • Excellent phone presence and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite and IT decision-makers
- • Nice-to-have: familiarity with MEDDICC, Challenger, or Sandler sales methodologies; experience using Salesloft, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or 6sense
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote-first culture with a one-time $1,000 home-office stipend and monthly internet reimbursement
- • Uncapped commission plan plus quarterly accelerators—top BDRs earn $90k+ in year one
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting day one, with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees
- • 401(k) with 4% company match, immediate vesting, and access to financial-planning advisors
- • Annual professional-development budget of $2,500 for certifications, conferences, or tuition
