- • As a Business Development Representative at Relayfi Inc., you will play a critical role in driving customer acquisition for a fast-growing fintech company that empowers self-made business owners with digital banking tools to gain clarity, confidence, and control over their finances—turning hard work into lasting success by replacing financial guesswork with real-time visibility into cash flow.
- • You will be an integral part of Relay’s sales engine, owning the earliest stage of the sales cycle by identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads to set up Account Executives for success, directly contributing to the company’s mission of helping small businesses thrive through innovative financial solutions.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include prospecting inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, texts, and social outreach to identify qualified opportunities; scheduling high-volume meetings with Account Executives by balancing assigned accounts with self-prospecting efforts; pitching Relay’s virtual banking solution by tailoring product benefits to the specific needs of small business owners and their advisors; gathering key client insights during conversations to enable effective handoffs to the sales team; collaborating with the Sales team to refine and optimize outreach strategies, messaging, and process efficiency; and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems to track activity and pipeline progression.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of experience in a high-volume sales role such as retail, staffing agency, or previous BDR/SDR experience
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate value clearly via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- • High degree of self-motivation, work ethic, and comfort working autonomously while remaining receptive to feedback and new sales strategies
