  • • This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a company experiencing immense momentum. As a Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in driving our outbound strategy from inception to execution, accelerating the adoption of DualEntry by CFOs and finance leaders across organizations. This is a hands-on Go-To-Market (GTM) role demanding a high degree of ownership, where you will be empowered to push for excellence, raise the bar for our sales processes, and contribute significantly to developing our GTM playbook. We operate with a high-speed, high-trust environment, expecting you to take initiative and deliver exceptional results.
  • • Your core responsibilities will include:
  • • Spearheading high-volume lead generation efforts specifically targeting the ERP market, engaging proactively with potential prospects to introduce the transformative power of DualEntry.
  • • Driving continuous improvement and experimentation within our GTM processes. This involves conceptualizing and implementing creative outbound strategies, identifying and executing initiatives to enhance sales velocity, and refining our approach to market penetration.
  • • Developing a profound and comprehensive understanding of DualEntry's AI-native ERP product, its unique value proposition, and how it addresses the pain points of modern accounting teams struggling with legacy systems.
  • • Collaborating closely with Account Executives (AEs) to ensure their calendars are consistently filled with qualified meetings, enabling them to focus on closing deals.
  • • Actively working to improve reply rates and conversion metrics month-over-month, employing data-driven insights and iterative testing to optimize outreach effectiveness.
  • • Serving as a crucial feedback loop by consistently bringing valuable insights gathered from prospect interactions back to the marketing and product teams, informing future strategy and product development.
  • • Taking ownership of your pipeline and proactively seeking opportunities to expand DualEntry's reach within target accounts.
  • • Mastering the art of cold outreach, both via phone and email, to effectively capture the attention of busy finance professionals.
  • • Contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement, sharing best practices and innovative tactics with the broader sales team.
  • • Embracing the challenge of selling a complex, yet highly impactful, enterprise software solution to a market accustomed to older technologies.
  • • Demonstrating resilience and a persistent drive to overcome objections and navigate the sales cycle effectively.
  • • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders within prospect organizations, laying the groundwork for future sales success.
  • • Analyzing performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in your outbound activities.
  • • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the ERP and FinTech spaces.
  • • Proactively identifying and qualifying new business opportunities that align with DualEntry's ideal customer profile.
  • • Contributing to the development of sales collateral and messaging that resonates with the target audience.
  • • Participating in team meetings, strategy sessions, and training programs to enhance your skills and contribute to collective success.
  • • Embracing the fast-paced, dynamic nature of a startup environment, adapting quickly to new challenges and opportunities.
  • • You will be based remotely, but with a strong connection to our New York City HQ (EST) time zone, fostering a collaborative and connected team environment despite the distributed nature of our workforce.
