- • The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Scale Army plays a critical role in driving growth for a U.S.-based proptech client by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective real estate agents who can benefit from an innovative, swipe-based home discovery platform. This role is essential to filling the sales pipeline with high-intent leads, directly supporting revenue generation in a fast-moving, technology-driven market.
- • The BDR will operate fully remotely from Egypt (or other eligible regions in LATAM, Africa, or Eastern Europe) and must align with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST), working 9 AM to 5 PM EST to synchronize with client-facing activities and sales team coordination.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting targeted outbound outreach to provided leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn; introducing the proptech platform’s value proposition in a clear, consultative manner; actively listening to agent needs to assess fit and readiness; scheduling qualified video demos for the senior sales team; maintaining accurate records of all interactions in a CRM system; diligently following up with warm leads who have not yet booked demos; overcoming common objections related to pricing, timing, or perceived value; participating in daily team huddles and weekly strategy sessions to share insights and refine messaging; and continuously refining outreach sequences based on response rates and feedback.
- • The BDR will join a dynamic, mission-driven team at Scale Army, a global talent partner that connects skilled professionals with high-growth U.S. startups. The team operates with a strong emphasis on performance, accountability, and continuous learning, fostering a culture where initiative and results are recognized and rewarded. Collaboration is key—BDRs work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment on ideal customer profiles, messaging, and lead handoff processes.
- • In this role, the individual will develop advanced outbound sales techniques, deepen their understanding of the proptech and real estate technology sectors, sharpen CRM and sales automation tool proficiency, and gain experience in consultative selling within a high-velocity sales cycle. Success in this position can lead to advancement into senior sales, account executive, or sales leadership roles, both within Scale Army’s network and with direct client opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of proven experience in sales, SDR, or BDR roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding outreach and lead qualification targets
- • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with comfort and effectiveness in cold calling, voicemail drops, and virtual engagement
- • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage time and priorities independently while maintaining high activity levels in a remote setting
