  • Join Neon One, a leading nonprofit software company dedicated to empowering mission-driven organizations, as a Business Development Representative (BDR). In this pivotal role, you will be the crucial first point of contact for prospective customers, playing an instrumental part in generating new sales opportunities and driving the company's growth.
  • As a BDR, your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential clients through a dynamic, multi-channel approach. This includes proactive outreach via phone calls, personalized emails, strategic social media interactions, and prompt responses to website chat inquiries. Your ability to connect with prospects and understand their needs will be paramount.
  • You will be tasked with engaging swiftly and effectively with Tier 2 leads, ensuring that every potential opportunity is maximized. This requires a keen sense of urgency and the ability to quickly assess and respond to incoming interest, converting potential leads into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Leveraging intent data will be a key aspect of your role. By analyzing this data, you will identify prospects who are most likely to be interested in Neon One's solutions, allowing for more targeted and efficient prospecting efforts.
  • Adherence to established processes for managing leads and contacts is essential. You will meticulously follow prescribed workflows for working with leads and creating new opportunities within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and a streamlined sales pipeline.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and Salesloft is a critical component of this role. Your diligence in keeping person and account records clean will support the entire sales team and provide valuable insights for campaign performance analysis.
  • When a new opportunity is created, you will provide comprehensive and detailed notes for the Territory Sales Managers. This information is vital for them to understand the prospect's needs, context, and potential, enabling them to effectively guide the sales process forward.
  • You will execute Salesloft cadence actions precisely and in a timely manner, following all instructions to ensure consistent and effective communication with prospects. This structured approach helps nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Regular meetings with Territory Sales Managers are scheduled to review campaign performance. This collaborative feedback loop allows for continuous improvement, strategy refinement, and shared learning to optimize outreach efforts.
  • Applying the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) qualification methodology will be a core skill. This framework will help you effectively assess the viability of each opportunity, ensuring that sales efforts are focused on the most promising prospects.
  • Close collaboration with Account Executives (AEs) is vital for a seamless transition of qualified leads. You will work hand-in-hand with AEs to ensure smooth handoffs and strong opportunity conversion rates, contributing directly to the sales team's success.
