📋 Description

• As a Business Development Representative at Sona Technologies Inc., you will play a foundational role in building the U.S. sales pipeline for an AI-native frontline workforce management platform serving hospitality and retail enterprises.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include running outbound campaigns to Directors and C-Suite leaders, booking qualified meetings for Account Executives, testing messaging and outreach sequences, conducting early discovery calls, collaborating with marketing on campaigns and events, and representing Sona at industry trade shows.
• You will join a high-performing sales team with 110% average quota attainment, zero attrition, and direct access to the VP of Sales and CEO, offering a clear path to an Account Executive role within 12 months for top performers.
• This role offers the opportunity to shape the go-to-market strategy in a new market, contribute to a fast-growing, well-funded startup, and develop expertise in enterprise sales while making a tangible impact on frontline workers’ lives.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a BDR or SDR role at a B2B tech or SaaS company
• Comfortable making outbound calls to senior stakeholders such as VPs and C-Suite executives
• Proven ability to meet or exceed targets with self-direction and a data-driven mindset
• Curiosity about sales psychology, messaging effectiveness, and continuous experimentation
• Motivation to grow into a closing (Account Executive) role and willingness to put in the necessary work
