- • The Business Development Representative (BDR) role at Condor is a pivotal entry point into our revenue team and a direct pathway to contributing to a category-defining enterprise business. This is far more than a transactional lead-generation position; it is an immersive experience in understanding how complex enterprise deals are architected and executed. You will play a crucial role in opening doors at some of the most sophisticated life sciences organizations in the world.
- • As a BDR, your primary responsibility will be to drive the top of the sales funnel by meticulously identifying and engaging with the appropriate finance, R&D, and clinical leaders within target biopharma companies. This involves conducting in-depth account research to understand their unique challenges and strategic objectives. You will then craft highly personalized and thoughtful outreach strategies to initiate meaningful conversations around critical problems that many teams recognize but struggle to articulate effectively.
- • Your contributions will have a direct and measurable impact on pipeline quality, accelerating deal velocity, and fostering the development of long-term, valuable customer relationships. You will work in close collaboration with seasoned enterprise Account Executives, gaining invaluable exposure to real-world sales cycles, executive-level conversations, and strategic market positioning. - • Pipeline Generation: Proactively build new business pipeline through strategic and targeted outbound prospecting efforts.
- • Lead Management: Effectively manage and qualify inbound leads generated from outbound activities, nurturing early-stage opportunities to progress them through the sales funnel.
- • Cold Calling & Outreach: Drive initial interest and engagement by conducting strategic cold outreach across a diverse range of life sciences accounts, with a primary focus on acquiring new logos within your assigned territory.
- • Collaboration with Sales Teams: Partner closely with core enterprise Account Executive teams to identify potential opportunities, conduct thorough account research, and align outreach efforts for maximum strategic impact and efficiency.
- • Relationship Building: Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with prospective customers by deeply understanding their unique business needs, operational challenges, and strategic goals.
- • Decision-Maker Engagement: Skillfully identify key personas and critical decision-makers within target accounts to ensure outreach is directed to the most influential individuals.
- • Insight Sharing: Leverage buyer intent trends and market intelligence to share relevant content, valuable thought leadership, and educational materials that resonate with prospect needs.
- • Messaging Execution: Manage sophisticated multi-channel outreach cadences, employing tailored messaging that clearly articulates Condor's unique value proposition, demonstrates tangible impact, and utilizes compelling case studies to drive engagement and secure initial meetings.
