- • As a Business Development Representative at Intercom, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by generating pipeline and laying the foundation for the Sales organization through strategic prospecting and engagement with enterprise customers.
- • Day to day, you will partner with Enterprise Account Executives to build target account lists, conduct expert cold calling and personalized email outreach, leverage LinkedIn for social selling, and deliver tailored experiences to C-level prospects while articulating Intercom’s value as a trusted advisor.
- • You will join a fast-moving, values-driven team at Intercom — the AI Customer Service company trusted by nearly 30,000 global businesses — where development and promotion from within are strongly encouraged, and collaboration across Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product is key to optimizing pipeline generation.
- • In this role, you will develop enterprise sales expertise, master modern prospecting tools and techniques, grow your career in sales with a clear path toward becoming an Account Executive, and contribute to real business impact in a culture that values feedback, growth mindset, and results-oriented performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong desire to build a career in Sales, with interest in progressing to an Account Executive or closing-based role
- • 1+ year of customer-facing work experience, with Sales and/or SaaS experience preferred
- • Experience and success working with enterprise-sized accounts
- • Proficiency in prospecting skills including cold calling, email, and social selling using modern sales engagement tools
- • Excellent communication abilities — verbal, written, and non-verbal — to inform, instruct, and persuade diverse audiences, including active listening and collaboration
