  • • Business Development Representative (BDR) at MeridianLink, Inc. plays a critical role in driving growth by helping financial institutions discover smarter ways to serve their customers through lead generation and qualification.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging new prospects via inbound leads and targeted outbound outreach, identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, partnering with Account Executives to advance opportunities, asking thoughtful questions to understand business challenges, educating prospects with relevant insights, maintaining accurate CRM activity tracking, and staying informed on market trends and competitive offerings.
  • • MeridianLink is a growing fintech company serving banks and credit unions nationwide, offering a collaborative, team-oriented sales culture with clear growth paths into Account Executive or other sales roles.
  • • In this role, you will develop core sales skills such as prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and pipeline management while gaining exposure to the financial services landscape and building credibility through meaningful conversations that directly impact revenue and customer success.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a customer-facing role
  • • Strong communication skills, comfortable talking with senior-level stakeholders
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • • Ability to balance activity with thoughtful, personalized outreach to uncover real business needs
  • • Skilled in handling rejection and navigating objections
  • • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
