  • • As a Business Development Representative - EMEA at OpenAI, you will serve as a critical launchpad for future enterprise sellers, identifying, shaping, and advancing complex enterprise opportunities by turning product usage, pilots, and inbound demand into qualified, high-conviction opportunities for Large Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams, directly contributing to OpenAI’s mission of scaling AI adoption across regulated and technically complex industries.
  • • You will partner with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression; design and execute targeted outbound strategies using industry context, stakeholder mapping, and product signals to break into priority accounts; lead high-quality discovery to uncover business priorities, map stakeholders, and assess enterprise readiness; contribute to pipeline reviews by sharing outbound activity, account insights, and early competitive signals; and build and iterate on AI-enabled GTM workflows (GPTs/agents) to scale prospecting and qualification — all while operating in a hybrid model (3 days in office per week) in Dublin, Ireland, with relocation assistance available.
  • • You will join OpenAI’s Enterprise Go-To-Market organization, which partners with global leaders in Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Retail to build AI-powered customer experiences, transform operations, and reimagine work in highly regulated environments — turning early product signals and developer-led experimentation into durable, enterprise-wide deployments through strategic, data-informed engagement.
  • • This role offers unparalleled exposure to enterprise sales, product, and customer strategy at the forefront of AI adoption, enabling you to develop core skills in discovery, stakeholder mapping, deal shaping, and executive communication while building a deep understanding of how leading companies adopt AI — positioning you for accelerated progression into world-class enterprise seller roles such as Account Director or broader GTM positions based on performance and business needs.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of relevant experience in enterprise sales or strategic customer-facing roles in finance, consulting, or related industries
  • • Proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding ambitious targets in enterprise or strategic sales environments
  • • Experience selling into regulated or complex industries such as Financial Services, Life Sciences, or Retail
  • • Strong communication skills and executive presence, with ability to build credibility with senior C-Suite stakeholders and engage technical buyers fluently
  • • Strong interest in the AI landscape and ability to connect OpenAI products to real customer value and business outcomes
  • • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to move quickly, and operate effectively with a high degree of ownership
