- • As Fieldguide’s first Business Development Representative in EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in the company’s international expansion by building and managing a strong sales pipeline through self-sourced outreach and close collaboration with Account Executives, directly contributing to growth in audit, assurance, and advisory firms across the region.
- • You will engage new and existing leads through creative, personalized outreach that builds credibility and excitement for Fieldguide, educating prospects using real business cases to demonstrate value, ROI, and impact through authentic conversations over phone or Zoom, while developing deep expertise in the Fieldguide platform, product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- • You will partner closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs of demo calls, coordinate effortless transitions, and support the SDR team’s mission by refining the sales playbook and maximizing efficiency and effectiveness in lead qualification and opportunity creation.
- • Fieldguide is a remote-first, early-stage startup backed by top-tier investors including Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Y Combinator, dedicated to building trust in global commerce by automating audit and assurance work in cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit, with an inclusive, driven, and supportive culture that values humility, curiosity, and mutual growth.
- • In this role, you will gain direct exposure to high-performing sales representatives, receive structured training and mentorship, and build a long-term career foundation in sales by mastering prospect research, multi-threading, lead qualification, and emotional intelligence-driven customer engagement in a fast-paced, quota-focused environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of experience in BDR, SDR, Account Management, or Account Executive roles, including prospect research, multi-threading accounts, qualifying leads, and partnering with Account Executives to generate new business.
- • Proven ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets in a quota-driven environment, demonstrating intrinsic motivation to exceed goals and resilience in the face of challenges.
- • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas, excel in fast-paced customer-facing environments, and effectively use productivity tools and spreadsheets to stay sharp and efficient.
- • Comfort with cold calling, objection handling, and navigating challenging conversations, coupled with emotional intelligence, coachability, and a genuine curiosity to understand prospects and guide meaningful conversations.
