- • As a Business Development Representative at 1Password, you will play a critical role in fueling the company’s rapid growth by generating qualified sales pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting in enterprise accounts. Your work directly supports the mission of securing digital identities and enabling safe adoption of SaaS and AI tools for over 180,000 businesses worldwide, including Fortune 100 leaders and innovative AI companies.
- • You will spend your days researching target accounts, identifying key decision-makers, and initiating contact via multi-channel outreach including personalized emails, cold calling, video messages, and social engagement on platforms like LinkedIn. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to tailor your approach, leverage intent data from tools like 6sense and Zoominfo, and iterate on messaging based on response rates and feedback.
- • You will become proficient in 1Password’s Extended Access Management platform and its use cases across industries, deepening your product knowledge through structured onboarding, continuous learning via the LMS, and regular coaching sessions. This foundational understanding will allow you to articulate value propositions that resonate with CISOs, IT leaders, and business executives facing evolving security and productivity challenges.
- • You will operate within a high-performance, mission-driven sales organization that values curiosity, adaptability, and results. The Business Development team is tightly integrated with sales, marketing, and product teams, offering exposure to go-to-market strategy and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, innovative cybersecurity leader.
- • In this role, you will develop core enterprise sales competencies including consultative prospecting, objection handling, CRM mastery, and sales cadence optimization. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading sales tech stack and receive mentorship that accelerates your trajectory toward a full-cycle Account Executive or other sales leadership paths within 1Password’s growing GTM organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of professional experience in prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, networking, or account research
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach
- • Proficiency in Salesforce and Outreach or similar CRM and sales engagement platforms
- • Excellent organization and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and outreach sequences
- • Demonstrated curiosity, goal orientation, and resilience in adapting to changing priorities and ambiguous situations
