- • As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Exclaimer, you will be at the forefront of our sales engine, playing a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and driving our ambitious growth plans. You will be the initial point of contact for many prospective clients, acting as a knowledgeable ambassador for our award-winning global SaaS provider. Your primary mission will be to identify, engage, and qualify potential customers, understanding their unique challenges and effectively communicating how Exclaimer's innovative solutions can provide significant value.
- • This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to advance their sales career. If you are a high-performing sales professional who feels they are not receiving the right level of support and development to progress towards a closing role, this position offers a clear pathway for growth and advancement within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be instrumental in creating pipeline, opening doors to new markets, and transforming initial cold conversations into qualified, high-potential opportunities.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a proactive and strategic approach to outbound sales. This includes conducting extensive research on target accounts to identify key decision-makers and influencers within organizations. You will then leverage this research to craft and execute multi-touch, multi-channel outreach sequences, meticulously tailored to resonate with different personas and industry needs. This will involve utilizing tools such as Nooks, a parallel dialler, to efficiently book meetings with senior decision-makers.
- • A core aspect of your role will be to clearly articulate Exclaimer’s compelling value proposition. You will need to confidently and professionally handle objections, skillfully guiding conversations forward and assessing the genuine interest and fit of prospects. Simultaneously, you will manage and qualify inbound leads (MQLs), evaluating their needs, potential, and buying intent to ensure we are engaging with the most promising opportunities.
- • Success in this role is measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed activity, meeting, and pipeline generation targets. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date pipeline data within our CRM system, ensuring a clear and organized overview of all sales activities and progress. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handovers, providing them with well-qualified leads and comprehensive context to facilitate successful deal closures.
- • Beyond direct lead generation, you will contribute significantly to refining our sales strategy. By sharing valuable feedback gathered from prospect interactions, you will help shape and improve our messaging, positioning, and overall go-to-market approach. You will actively support the development of our outbound strategy by testing new messaging, experimenting with innovative approaches, and contributing to the creation of effective sales plays.
