📋 Description

• The Business Development Representative role is critical to driving growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities that feed into the sales pipeline and support account managers in closing deals.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting via phone, email, and on-site visits; analyzing market research; developing leads; assisting with proposal preparation; documenting interactions in Salesforce; attending trade shows; and collaborating with account managers to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
• HD Supply Holdings, LLC is a leading distributor of industrial and construction products, operating across North America with a focus on delivering operational solutions to professional customers in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) markets.
• In this role, the individual will develop core sales and business development skills, gain exposure to supply chain and inventory solutions, refine CRM proficiency, and build a track record of generating qualified leads that contribute directly to revenue growth.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through outreach
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey value and build relationships
• Experience collaborating with sales partners and transitioning qualified opportunities to account or project teams
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and maintaining accurate pipeline activity and documentation
• BS/BA in a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report required due to vehicle operation exceeding 20% of work week
