  • • This Business Development Representative role is part of M-Files’ Growth Marketing team and is designed to build a pipeline of qualified talent for future opportunities in driving new customer acquisition and pipeline growth through strategic outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
  • • The role focuses on identifying and engaging target accounts, communicating the M-Files value proposition, and generating sales-ready leads to support the North American sales team in achieving revenue goals.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop joint prospect engagement strategies, prioritize key accounts, and increase pipeline and revenue within your assigned territory through data-informed outreach.
  • • Daily responsibilities include leveraging account maps, CRM tools (such as Salesforce), and research to uncover latent demand, conducting multi-channel prospecting via phone, email, social media, and other techniques to deliver key promotional messages to decision-makers.
  • • You will be expected to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly meeting, activity, and quality goals while partnering with sales and marketing teams to share insights, refine tactics, and adopt best practices.
  • • The role includes opportunities for occasional travel to internal events such as the GTM Kickoff in January and semi-annual or annual team conferences, fostering cross-functional alignment and professional development.
  • • As a fully remote position based in the U.S., you’ll enjoy flexibility in managing your work-life balance while being expected to operate primarily within Eastern or Central time zones to align with team collaboration needs.
  • • You’ll gain deep exposure to an AI-native document management platform, learning how M-Files uses metadata-driven architecture and AI at scale to solve complex business workflows for over 6,000 global customers.
  • • This role offers significant professional growth through hands-on coaching, feedback from internal sales and marketing teams, and clear pathways to advancement within Sales or other areas of the company.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within a technology vendor environment
  • • Strong prospecting skills with confidence in cold calling, seeking referrals, and generating new leads through proactive outreach
  • • Demonstrated ability to understand technology solutions and effectively communicate their benefits to diverse audiences
  • • Technology savvy with working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and engagement tools such as Gong Engage and LinkedIn
  • • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and driven to meet or exceed activity, quality, and revenue targets
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to sophisticated audiences across multiple channels
