  • • As a Business Development Representative focused on the SMB market at 1Password, you will play a critical role in driving growth by generating qualified sales opportunities and serving as the first point of contact for prospective customers in the small and mid-sized business segment. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding 1Password’s market presence and supporting its mission to deliver secure, productive digital experiences.
  • • Day to day, you will focus on generating qualified outbound pipeline through strategic prospecting while also managing inbound inquiries via phone, email, social media, and video channels. You will identify, qualify, and nurture leads in new and existing commercial accounts, ensuring smooth handoffs to Account Executives for further engagement. Collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams will be essential to leverage insights, refine messaging, and align on shared goals.
  • • You will continuously develop your pipeline generation skills through hands-on experience, coaching, and access to 1Password’s Learning Management System, deepening your understanding of the product, its use cases, and customer challenges. You’ll leverage an industry-leading tech stack including Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to optimize outreach and track progress.
  • • Occasional travel may be required for company meetings, marketing events, or customer engagements, with opportunities to apply language skills when relevant. You’ll be encouraged to experiment with new tactics and strategies, fostering creativity and adaptability in your approach to prospecting and engagement.
  • • You’ll receive ongoing support through one-on-one coaching, participate in onboarding and continuous learning programs, and have the opportunity to grow within the sales organization by mastering foundational BDR competencies that are critical for long-term career progression.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Up to one year or more of relevant customer-facing experience, preferably in sales or related roles where communication and relationship-building were essential.
  • • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to engage prospects, build relationships, and share information effectively both internally and externally.
  • • Comfort with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • • Strong organization and time management skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize outreach, and maintain an efficient workflow.
  • • A results-oriented mindset with motivation to achieve and exceed targets, demonstrating discipline and persistence in pursuit of goals.
  • • A growth mindset and curiosity, with openness to feedback, adaptability to change, and eagerness to learn and improve continuously.
