- • Generate new business opportunities in the commercial property and casualty insurance market by identifying and pursuing leads from lost accounts, industry listings, networking, and referrals.
- • Collaborate with the Vice President of Business Development and Commercial Lines Manager to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth within the automotive industry insurance sector.
- • Analyze existing customer accounts to identify cross-sell and account rounding opportunities, working closely with the Account Management Team to implement targeted sales strategies.
- • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers on current accounts to deepen engagement and secure referrals for new business.
- • Manage a portfolio of lost accounts by diagnosing reasons for loss and creating actionable strategies to win back business.
- • Partner with marketing and advertising teams to design and execute effective sales campaigns that align with business development goals.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities using established CRM or tracking systems.
- • Stay current with evolving industry trends, insurance policy changes, and regulatory updates affecting commercial insurance products for automotive businesses.
- • Leverage knowledge of national and regional insurance carrier rating platforms to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- • Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives that support lead generation and brand visibility within the automotive insurance niche.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in marketing-related duties with familiarity across multiple insurance carrier rating platforms (national and regional)
- • Preference for applicants with retail agency experience in the insurance industry
- • Must obtain a state insurance license within 90 days of employment
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
