Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • Join Valinor Capital Management LP, a groundbreaking defense and government technology company, as a pivotal Business Operations professional at our Fort Worth, Texas headquarters. Valinor is redefining the industry by tackling complex, often overlooked challenges that are critical to national strength, stability, and security. Our innovative model combines centralized go-to-market strategies with decentralized engineering, enabling us to rapidly identify unmet needs, develop precisely tailored solutions, and deploy them efficiently to end-users. Founded in 2024 and backed by prominent investors like General Catalyst, Founders Fund, and Friends & Family Capital, we are forging strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Palantir, Anduril, and Helsing. We are assembling a world-class team, and this is your opportunity to be a part of it.
  • • In this high-ownership, on-site role within the Valinor Harbor division, you will be instrumental in developing and managing a mobile, modular medical system designed for precision care, rapid response, and remote monitoring in challenging, austere environments. Your responsibilities will span the full spectrum of operational support, ensuring the smooth functioning of our Harbor HQ and contributing directly to the success of our mission-critical projects.
  • • You will be the linchpin for all administrative and operational needs at our Fort Worth facility. This includes overseeing daily office operations, meticulously managing inventory, and proactively addressing any on-site requirements to maintain a productive and efficient work environment. Your role will be hands-on, ensuring that the physical infrastructure and day-to-day logistics support the team's ambitious goals.
  • • A core aspect of your function will involve managing internal processes and business infrastructure. This encompasses supporting the quarterly budget process, handling accounts payable with precision, and cultivating strong vendor relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring financial and operational processes are streamlined and effective, contributing to the company's fiscal health and operational agility.
  • • This role demands exceptional adaptability and a willingness to embrace diverse responsibilities. You will frequently 'wear many hats,' demonstrating comfort and proficiency in context switching. One moment you might be meticulously drafting customer product documentation, and the next, you could be addressing complex inquiries about specialized insurance, such as truck insurance. This dynamic environment requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a broad understanding of business operations.
  • • You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to manage and execute cross-functional initiatives, both within the Harbor division and between Harbor and other Valinor Hubs. Your efforts will be focused on enhancing team alignment, improving operational efficiency, and fostering seamless collaboration across different departments and projects.
  • • Mission support for Valinor's clients is a critical component of this role. You will provide project management expertise to ensure high-quality deployment execution, working closely with clients to meet their specific needs. This may involve coordinating logistics, managing timelines, and ensuring all aspects of a deployment are handled with utmost professionalism and efficiency.
  • • Furthermore, you will be expected to actively contribute to the physical build and preparation of the Harbor units. This hands-on involvement could include supporting onsite construction, fabrication, or design elements, ensuring that the physical products are ready for deployment and meet rigorous quality standards.
  • • As a first responder to operational challenges, you will take immediate ownership of issues that arise. Your commitment will extend to driving resolutions, even when they fall outside your immediate area of expertise. This requires a tenacious problem-solving attitude, a collaborative spirit, and a deep commitment to the company's mission.
  • • We are seeking individuals who embody creative thinking, a collaborative mindset, and an unwavering dedication to going above and beyond to achieve objectives. Your ability to anticipate needs, propose innovative solutions, and execute with precision will be highly valued.
  • • This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of Valinor Harbor, directly impacting our ability to deliver cutting-edge medical systems to those who need them most, particularly in demanding environments. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to solve critical problems in defense and government technology.
