  • • As a Business Operations Analyst at Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), a leading global analytics software company renowned for empowering businesses in over 100 countries to make superior decisions, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our product development lifecycle and release management operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team and contribute directly to the timely and high-quality delivery of value-driven product releases.
  • • You will be instrumental in identifying and resolving operational pain points that could potentially impact the efficiency and success of our product delivery. By working closely with product managers, engineers, architects, and designers, you will establish clear standard operating procedures and ensure a consistent, efficient, and successful product release process across the organization.
  • • A core responsibility will be to support FICO’s Product Development Lifecycle, taking the lead on end-to-end release management operations. This involves developing and maintaining comprehensive documented standards, processes, and clear guidance. This documentation will serve as a critical resource for Product Management, Engineering, and Delivery teams, enabling them to release platform capabilities and products with greater efficiency and predictability.
  • • You will act as a key liaison, partnering closely with Product Management, Delivery Management, and Engineering teams. In this capacity, you will help define release priorities, meticulously plan release schedules, establish realistic timelines, and rigorously track progress against these execution plans. Your insights will be crucial in keeping projects on track and ensuring alignment across all involved parties.
  • • Collaboration is key in this role. You will engage with leaders across various FICO departments to create and continuously refine release standards, provide essential guidance, and champion best practices. This cross-functional engagement ensures that our release processes are robust, adaptable, and reflect the diverse needs and perspectives of the business.
  • • A significant aspect of your contribution will be driving continuous improvement initiatives across our product development and release management practices. Your focus will be on enhancing operational excellence and maximizing efficiency, ensuring that FICO remains at the forefront of agile software delivery.
  • • You will be responsible for building, tracking, and communicating release plans and roadmaps. These communications will provide a clear and comprehensive overview of FICO’s product portfolio, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned on upcoming releases and strategic product direction.
  • • To foster alignment and gather critical feedback, you will facilitate and moderate meetings with key stakeholders. These sessions are designed to ensure that our processes are continuously refined and accurately reflect the diverse perspectives and requirements of the business.
  • • You will also be tasked with scheduling and leading planning and release-related meetings as needed, ensuring that all necessary parties are engaged and that critical decisions are made in a timely manner.
  • • To maintain transparency and facilitate informed decision-making, you will develop and maintain release calendars, reports, and dashboards. These tools will effectively communicate what is planned, what has been successfully released, and will highlight opportunities for increased efficiency and process optimization.
  • • This role offers a fantastic opportunity to leverage your understanding of Agile development lifecycles and software delivery operations. You will gain hands-on experience with platform releases, contributing to the successful deployment of FICO’s cutting-edge solutions.
  • • You will be encouraged to explore and potentially utilize AI to improve operational efficiency, aligning with FICO's commitment to innovation and leveraging advanced technologies.
  • • Your collaborative working style, coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, will be essential for success in this dynamic environment. You will thrive in a role that demands strong time-management skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
