• • As a Business Operations Principal, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and strategic execution across Kraken's most critical and ambitious areas: Spot Trading, Margin, Derivatives, and Exchange & Infrastructure. This role is designed for a highly motivated and adaptable individual who thrives in dynamic environments, excels at connecting disparate teams, and can seamlessly blend strategic thinking with hands-on implementation.
• • You will partner directly with the Head of Pro, acting as a key advisor and executor to ensure the Pro business unit operates with maximum efficiency and achieves its ambitious goals. This involves building and refining operating rhythms, establishing robust review processes, and creating forums that foster alignment and focus on key priorities across the entire Pro organization.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects. These initiatives often transcend the boundaries of individual teams but are crucial for the overall success of the Pro business. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, orchestrate collaboration, and drive projects from conception to completion will be paramount.
• • You will provide critical support to leadership in their decision-making processes. This includes meticulously framing complex issues, diligently tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively identifying potential gaps or risks before they impact the business. Your insights will be vital in guiding strategic choices and ensuring the Pro business stays on track.
• • Maintaining and enhancing systems for reporting, business reviews, roadmap coordination, and cross-team initiatives will be a core responsibility. You will ensure that information flows effectively, that progress is transparent, and that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
• • You will collaborate closely with leadership to scope and launch new initiatives within Spot, Margin, Derivatives, or Infrastructure. This encompasses the entire lifecycle, from the initial conceptualization of an idea to its initial execution and early-stage growth.
• • Contributing to high-impact communication materials is also a key part of the role. You will help craft executive updates, internal communications for all-hands meetings, and strategic memos that provide clarity, build understanding, and enhance visibility across the organization.
• • Acting as the initial point of contact for inbound requests, you will expertly triage these requests, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate teams and that there is clear accountability for their follow-through. This gatekeeping function is essential for maintaining operational flow and preventing bottlenecks.
