- • The Business Resiliency Specialist III is responsible for working closely with customers, business partners, project managers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality solutions aligned with business and IT strategies and compliant with organizational architectural standards.
- • Day to day, the role involves providing guidance and training to less experienced BC/DR personnel, coordinating the BC/DR program to ensure application and data availability, overseeing disaster recovery process design and implementation, conducting annual disaster simulations, managing recovery plan implementation, recommending disaster avoidance strategies, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with recovery plans, conferring with IT on hardware/software impacts, creating technical documentation, developing short and long term plans, monitoring security alerts, and producing metrics reports on IT system recoverability.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
- • Five (5) years’ experience in Business Continuity/Business Resiliency, disaster recovery, or crisis management, including a minimum of three (3) years in Disaster Recovery
- • Strong knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery best practices and standards
- • Experience implementing industry standards such as NIST 800-34
- • Current Business Continuity Certification (DRII CBCP, MBCI, MBCP, MABR, or equivalent) preferred
- • Health plan, managed care, process improvement, and/or business analysis experience preferred
