  • • As a Business Segment Lead at Alan SAS, you will drive market leadership for one of three key French market segments—Tech, Industry, or New Segments—by shaping strategy, owning P&L, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated health insurance solutions that transform employer benefits into strategic investments.
  • • You will build deep market intelligence through quantitative sizing and qualitative customer insights, define compelling value propositions and pricing strategies, and design go-to-market plans for both account renewal and new business development, adapting to evolving distribution channels and partner ecosystems.
  • • You will own the financial performance of your segment, making data-driven decisions on resource allocation and investment trade-offs while collaborating closely with Product, Insurance, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure offerings are both market-relevant and technically feasible.
  • • You will foster transversal influence across distributed ownership models, partnering with other segment leaders to share best practices, align on long-term value creation, and contribute to Alan’s mission of making prevention the norm in healthcare for over a million members across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada.
  • • In this role, you will develop strategic leadership skills in a high-growth, mission-driven environment, gaining end-to-end ownership of a business unit while refining your ability to balance analytical rigor with product intuition, influence without authority, and lead through ambiguity in a fast-scaling organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 7 years of prior experience leading a business, product category, or business segment
  • • Fluency in both English and French
  • • Proven ability to establish transversal influence across teams without direct authority
  • • Strong business acumen combined with the ability to analyze and manipulate data for 360-degree market insights
  • • Experience articulating clear strategies amid complexity and uncertainty, with a track record of working alongside senior leadership
