  • As a Business Solutions Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing our most significant US Health Insurance client portfolio. This is a strategic position focused on ensuring the financial health, fostering long-term retention, and driving the expansion of these key accounts.
  • You will act as the primary liaison between our clients' high-level business objectives and the successful technical implementation and adoption of Smile's advanced health data platforms. This involves deeply understanding client needs, translating them into actionable strategies, and ensuring our solutions deliver maximum value.
  • Your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic account plans tailored to each client's unique challenges and opportunities. This involves identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, such as upselling and cross-selling our comprehensive suite of data management and analytics solutions.
  • You will be instrumental in cultivating strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within client organizations, from executive leadership to operational teams. This requires proactive communication, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry landscape, particularly within the US health insurance sector.
  • A critical aspect of this role is to ensure client satisfaction and success by overseeing the effective deployment and ongoing utilization of Smile's platform. You will work closely with internal teams, including product, engineering, and customer success, to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring client account health, including financial performance, usage metrics, and overall satisfaction. This involves identifying potential risks and proactively developing mitigation strategies to ensure client retention and growth.
  • The Business Solutions Manager will also be involved in understanding market trends and competitive landscapes within the health insurance industry to identify new opportunities and inform product development strategies.
  • You will contribute to the development of best practices and playbooks for client management and solution deployment, sharing insights and knowledge across the sales and solutions teams.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, business development, or a client-facing solutions role within the US Health Insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, FHIR standards, and health IT interoperability.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships, driving retention, and achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
