- • Manages a team of analysts responsible for analyzing new business system development and improving existing systems, ensuring client needs are met on time and within budget.
- • Allocates resources, monitors deliverables, builds test plans and data, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to implement cost-effective systems supporting business functions.
- • Leads day-to-day performance of subordinate staff, has full authority for personnel actions, and ensures project milestones and department goals are met.
- • Designs, implements, and supports business intelligence solutions with hands-on expertise in application design, configuration, and implementation for financial tools and processes.
- • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs, documents requirements, defines scope, detects system errors, and develops specifications for correction.
- • Performs functionality and system testing, exploratory testing for quality assurance, and maintains interfaces with commercial system vendors.
- • Provides expertise and project support for functional and technical processes related to all financial tools and processes, reporting to the AVP of Commercial Business Systems.
- • Focuses on application development, continuous improvement, and business analytics while institutionalizing procedures for flawless execution of application requirements.
- • Coordinates subject matter experts across product and operations teams to ensure effective utilization of application systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- • 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a related area
- • Familiarity with relational database concepts and client-server architecture
- • Experience in the insurance industry and understanding of its concepts, practices, and procedures
- • Proven ability to lead and direct the work of others, including supervisory experience (1–3 years preferred)
- • Strong analytical and data modeling background with hands-on experience in applications design, configuration, and implementation
