- • Orion Innovation is seeking an experienced C/C++ Developer to join a team developing a Linux-based cloud-integrated communication solution, contributing to mission-critical real-time systems used across global industries such as telecommunications, finance, and healthcare.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing software for cloud-integrated communication solutions and IP telephony using C and C++, designing and implementing High Availability (HA) and clustering mechanisms for call processing with real-time state synchronization, optimizing distributed data architectures for multi-node clustering and load balancing, and collaborating within an international Agile/Scrum team on product architecture, feature development, and performance optimization.
- • The team operates within a global, award-winning technology services firm that delivers digital transformation and product development across diverse sectors including financial services, telecommunications, consumer products, automotive, industrial automation, life sciences, and ecommerce, fostering innovation through agility, scale, and technical maturity.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in real-time systems, HA architectures, and cloud-native C/C++ development while gaining hands-on experience with Golang, IPC, networking protocols, and distributed systems—positioning you for growth into senior engineering or architecture roles within a supportive, performance-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of commercial experience in C/C++ development
- • Experience with Linux programming
- • Hands-on experience with Golang (Go) development
- • Deep understanding of Clustering and High Availability (HA) architectures (Active/Standby, Active/Active)
- • Practical experience with inter-process communication (IPC) and network synchronization techniques for real-time applications
- • Networking fundamentals and understanding of the TCP/IP stack
- • Strong debugging and bug-fixing skills
- • Experience with version control systems (Git)
- • English proficiency sufficient for verbal and written communication within an international team
