- • As a Customer Service Representative at Copart, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient release of vehicles to their rightful owners and authorized parties. This is a part-time, fully remote position that requires a dedicated and professional individual to act as a crucial liaison between our company, vehicle owners, body shops, and insurance providers.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve proactively reaching out to body shops to meticulously confirm vehicle pick-up details. This includes verifying all necessary information and obtaining official vehicle release authorization, ensuring that every step of the process is documented and compliant.
- • You will also engage directly with vehicle owners, guiding them through the release process. This includes collecting any required documentation, arranging for transportation logistics, and facilitating the removal of personal belongings from the vehicles. In instances where a three-way conversation is necessary, you will expertly coordinate calls with body shops or tow companies to resolve any complexities and ensure a smooth transition.
- • A key aspect of your role will be utilizing Copart's proprietary "DeCode This" tool. This powerful resource will be essential for searching Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) and gathering all pertinent vehicle information required for the release process, demanding accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
- • Maintaining an exceptionally organized system is paramount. You will be responsible for diligently documenting all interactions, vehicle statuses, and any relevant notes within our internal systems. This ensures that all stakeholders have access to up-to-date and accurate information, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
- • To thrive in this dynamic environment, you will be expected to meet rigorous daily performance goals. This includes making a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day and successfully processing over 60 live vehicle lots daily. Your ability to manage a high volume of tasks while maintaining quality will be critical to your success.
- • Collaboration and communication are vital. You will actively participate in weekly team meetings conducted via Microsoft Teams. These sessions are designed to foster a connected and supportive team environment, allowing for the sharing of best practices, problem-solving, and staying aligned on company objectives.
- • Adherence to all Copart policies and guidelines is non-negotiable. You will consistently follow established procedures to guarantee the quality, consistency, and integrity of your work, upholding Copart's commitment to excellence.
- • This role also requires a flexible and team-oriented attitude. You will be expected to assist teammates when needed and contribute to other tasks or projects as assigned by management, demonstrating a willingness to go the extra mile.
- • You will perform other duties as assigned by management, showcasing adaptability and a commitment to supporting the broader team's objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading global company while working remotely and developing valuable customer service and operational skills.
