Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As a Card Operations Manager at Rain Technologies, Inc., you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and compliant operation of our physical card programs, a critical component of our next-generation payment solutions. This role places you at the nexus of our internal operations, external partners, and the end-user experience, demanding a blend of strategic oversight and meticulous execution.
- • You will take full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of our physical card programs. This involves cultivating and managing strong relationships with card manufacturers, payment processors, and the major card networks (such as Visa and Mastercard). Your responsibilities will include monitoring program performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement, and swiftly resolving any escalations with a high degree of precision and urgency.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be leading the implementation of new card manufacturers and expanding the capabilities of existing ones. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Card Network Operations to ensure our manufacturing partners can support evolving program needs and new functionalities, thereby enhancing the overall offering.
- • You will serve as a key strategic partner to our clients, guiding them through the intricacies of card requirements and program specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in managing onboarding timelines for new card programs, ensuring that each launch is executed flawlessly, on time, and to exact specifications through rigorous project management and proactive communication.
- • Maintaining the operational integrity of our card programs is paramount. This includes overseeing the end-to-end physical card billing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will also be responsible for supporting the reporting requirements mandated by our third-party vendors, maintaining transparency and compliance.
- • Driving visibility and accountability across all card operations will be a core function. You will establish and maintain comprehensive project trackers, lead regular weekly sync meetings with vendors to ensure alignment and progress, and deliver clear, concise status reports to keep all cross-functional stakeholders informed and aligned. This ensures that everyone involved understands the current state, upcoming milestones, and any potential roadblocks.
- • This role is designed for an individual who can manage significant complexity across multiple programs concurrently. You will be expected to bring structure to ambiguous situations, developing and refining processes as needed to optimize efficiency and scalability.
- • Your work will directly impact the user experience of every cardholder, ensuring that their physical card transactions are smooth, reliable, and secure. By bridging the gap between product, engineering, and the real-world execution of card services, you will contribute directly to Rain's mission of making stablecoins usable globally.
- • You will be a key player in a hypergrowth company, operating at the forefront of stablecoin innovation. This environment demands agility, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a global mindset. Your contributions will be vital in shaping a borderless financial future, working with a lean and passionate team of builders and founders.
- • The opportunity to deliver massive impact is significant, supported by top-tier investors in fintech, crypto, and SaaS. If you are curious, bold, and eager to contribute to a rapidly evolving industry, this role offers a unique platform for growth and influence.
