- • The Care Coordinator role at Brown & Brown Insurance is essential to ensuring seamless member enrollment and maintenance in the IPC Copay Assistance Program, directly supporting patient access to critical medication affordability resources.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating member implementation calls with the Care Team Lead, responding to incoming inquiries, making outbound calls to client members, assisting with enrollment in manufacturer assistance programs, maintaining patient databases for tracking and follow-up, reviewing claims, and identifying patients for coverage continuation.
- • The role operates within a merit-based company culture that values self-starters and those committed to doing what is best for customers, with a focus on confidentiality, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving in a remote work environment.
- • The Care Coordinator will develop expertise in healthcare administration, patient support workflows, HIPAA-compliant handling of Protected Health Information (PHI), and cross-functional coordination within a care team, gaining valuable experience in pharmacy benefit management and patient advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license or 2-5 years of experience in a retail pharmacy or pharmacy benefit management environment
- • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone demeanor
- • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information
